Brian Hockenbury

Brian has over twenty years of experience editing and creating engaging content for his clients. Through that work he has developed a real passion for telling stories through documentary film side-projects.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him tackling a new home improvement task, cooking up something for you on the grill in his backyard, or enjoying quality time at home with his longtime partner Robin. Brian enjoys getting off the grid and finding epic remote locations for extended hiking and camping trips if he can manage the time.

Brian is an experienced video editor with over twenty years of creating engaging content. A computer geek, film nerd, and problem solver, Brian began his career fixing shooting errors through video compositing and effects using the Company of Science and Art (COSA) After Effects, before Adobe acquired it.

Since beginning his professional editing career in 1994, Brian has earned five documentary film credits, with two more in post-production now.

Through that work, he has developed a real passion for telling stories through documentary film side-projects. In his free time, you can find Brian making music, filming documentaries, playing video games, hiking, biking, cooking, landscaping, and hanging with his grandchildren and dog.
